Annual UP Trip (Part 1)

Every year we make the trek Up North to my parent's cabin for Labor Day Weekend. This year we headed up and out a day early to hit up Mackinac Island. We spent Wednesday night in a hotel and headed to the island first thing Thursday morning. Spent the morning/early afternoon on the island before driving the last 2.5 hours to the cabin.

Mase was obsessed with swimming. He did NOT want to get out. (Yea for those swim lesson this summer)!!!

We had a great time on the island. As soon as we arrived we started the trek of riding our bikes around the island. It took us 2 hours with 3 stops (Arch Rock, to throw rocks in the lake, and for a snack/pictures of the bridge stop). After our ride we grabbed lunch, did a little shopping, and then it was already time to head back to the mainland.

Riding the ferry to Mackinac Island...
First stop (Arch Rock). Mommy and Molly just chilling at the top.
The best shot we got of the 4 of us...
The kids wheels as we biked around the island...
Second stop (aka...the throwing rocks stop)...
And third stop. At this stop a kind man asked if we wanted him to take a picture of our family. (Brian was snapping a picture of Mase and I). We said sure...(even though it was only 3/4th of our family. Mols was sleeping and I never (well rarely) wake a sleeping baby)...
